About Stop Soldier Suicide
Stop Soldier Suicide is the only national nonprofit focused exclusively on reducing suicide among U.S. veterans and service members. Founded by veterans in 2010, they provide free, confidential, personalized care to service members and veterans from every branch and every generation, regardless of discharge status. No red tape, no proof of service required.
Their goal: reduce the military suicide rate 40% by 2030.
ROGER
ROGER is Stop Soldier Suicide's evidence-based care program, confidential virtual counseling, crisis intervention, and safety planning, 100% free for U.S. veterans and active-duty service members. Many of ROGER's counselors have served themselves or come from military families, so the people answering are people who understand.

One of the most groundbreaking parts of Stop Soldier Suicide's work. Families who've lost someone to suicide can choose to loan their loved one's phone or tablet, so researchers can study the patterns that preceded a crisis, insight that's often invisible any other way. That data is helping build a clearer picture of suicide risk than has ever existed before.
It started with the military community. It's since grown to include families from all walks of life, because what it uncovers can save lives far beyond the veterans it was built to serve.
